EFSA – EU‐ANSA crisis preparedness training

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) chose, for 2023, to use its annual external crisis preparedness training benefit members of the Union Agencies Network on Scientific Advice (EU-ANSA). With contractor, Instinctif Partners, EFSA developed a one-and-a-half-day event, which was hosted at offices Agency and Health Work (EU-OSHA) in person Bilbao, Spain. aimed to, achieved several objectives, including enhancing collaboration EU-ANSA supporting evidence-based policymaking during crises, fostering mutual understanding different roles mandates Agencies, setting scene future sharing crisis-related knowledge information, testing concept through draft Framework Interagency Coordination & Cooperation In Times Of Crisis, exploring flexible proactive approaches interagency response. Following input from agency representatives, Partners programme activities, comprised presentations, facilitated discussions simulation exercise based fictional, multifaceted scenario combining public health food safety elements.
